GIGA:PC

Upon arriving at GIGA (or acquiring a new PC), contact the UDI (IT team) for the installation of a new PC using (XENIA).
The UDI team will perform the following tasks on your PC:
- Configure your access to the Internet
- Install/Update the Microsoft Office suite of programs on your PC.
- Install antivirus software on your PC
- Set up a GIGA directory. You are obliged to work in this and only this directory for all your professional, GIGA-related activities.
- Install an automatic, daily back-up system of this GIGA directory. The back-up system that will be installed uses the Dox@ULiège1 system.
- Insure your PC if it is owned by the ULiège.
