The aim of this website is to provide GIGA members concise information on what is provided to them but also to get started with both PC and GIGA’s high performance computing facilities.

Many GIGA members might just need a small storage space and a running standard computer :
They got DoX which is a cloud storage (synchronized with a defined space on the user's computer), owned by ULiège and which is backuped every night.

Others, like the ones working in genomics or imaging platforms, would recquire more space and/or processing power for their datas :
Huge storage and high throughtput computing infrastructures are available.

But that's not all :
Are also provided several tools and/or web-platforms, a backuping system for big datas, as well as How-to's and on-demand training sessions.

Is also provided an IT Policy where all those informations are written down formally.

What do i need to know
